Privacy policy

Custom Your Padel is a trading name of Bodegraven & Wilffert Enterprise, Tupolevlaan 73, 1119 PA Schiphol-Rijk, Netherlands. If you have any questions about your data, you can contact us at info@customyourpadel.nl.

We only collect the data we need to provide our service:

• When you place an order: your name, email address, telephone number, delivery address, your design and the details of your order.
• When you request a quote: company name, contact name, email address, telephone number, number of rackets, deadline and any notes you add.
• When you contact us through the contact form or by email: your name, email address and the content of your message.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type and how you use the website. Analytics cookies in the browser are placed only where you have consented. Separately, when you place an order we also share your IP address and browser type with Meta, see section 6.

• To process and deliver your order or quote.
• To contact you about your order or enquiry.
• To send you an invoice and keep our business records.
• To improve the website (using anonymised statistics).

We only share data with parties who help us provide our service and who are bound by a data processing agreement:

• Supabase (hosted in the EU): storing orders and requests.
• Resend: sending emails, including those from our mailing list.
• Vercel: hosting the website.
• Mollie: processing payments.
• DHL (via MyParcel): delivering your order.
• OpenAI (United States): creates the designs when you use “Design with AI”. It only receives your answers in the AI designer (style, colours, the text that should appear on the design) and the chosen design to make the rim, not your name, email address or address. Under OpenAI’s terms this data is not used to train models. To count the number of designs per day we keep an unreadable (hashed) version of your IP address for two days. AI designs that are not ordered are deleted after 180 days. If you choose “Artwork from your photo”, OpenAI also receives that photo. We do not keep the photo itself; a design made from a photo that is not ordered is deleted after 30 days.
• Vectorizer.AI: turns logos and designs into a sharp print file after an order.
• Meta (Facebook): when you place an order we share your name, email address and phone number (hashed, not readable by Meta), plus your IP address and browser type, so Meta can measure which advertisement led to the purchase. See section 6.

We also share data with the Dutch Tax Administration (Belastingdienst) where the law requires this for our records. If you consent to analytics and advertising cookies, Google (Analytics) and Meta (Pixel) receive data about your visit to the site.

We do not sell data to third parties.

• Order and invoice data: 7 years (the statutory retention period for tax purposes).
• Contact form messages: up to 12 months.
• Quote requests that are not followed up: up to 24 months.
• Analytics data: up to 14 months, anonymised.

This site uses functional cookies that it needs in order to work, for example to remember your language and your country for the shipping costs. We only set analytics and advertising cookies (Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel) once you have given your consent. If you decline, the site works as normal.

Separately from cookies: when you place an order we share your order data (name, email address and phone number hashed, so not readable) plus your IP address and browser type with Meta, so Meta can measure which advertisement led to the purchase. This happens through our server, even if you have not accepted cookies.

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access the data we hold about you.
• Have that data corrected or deleted.
• Restrict the processing of your data or object to it.
• Take your data with you (data portability).
• Lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

Send your request to info@customyourpadel.nl. We will respond within 30 days.

We use verification, encryption in transit and at rest, access control by role and periodic reviews to protect your data against unauthorised access or loss.

About two weeks after your order, we send you a one-time email with a personal link to write a review. If you write one, we store your star rating, your title and text, the name you choose to show with it, the country of your order, any photo you add and the order the review belongs to. You can also write a review through a link we share with you ourselves. We do not connect that review to an order. Before a review goes online, we check that the writer bought a racket from us. That is why reviews show Verified buyer.

We only show your review if you give permission and after we have checked it. The site shows only the name you chose and the country, never your address or email address. We keep the review for as long as it is online and remove it if you ask us to. To do so, email info@customyourpadel.nl.

If you send your design to your own email address, we keep that address, the design and its images for 90 days. We use them to send you the email with your design, and the link lets you open it again. If you tick the box, we send you two more short emails about your design. After 90 days we delete it automatically.

If you start an order but the payment does not go through, we send you an email with a link to finish the order, followed by at most two short reminders. Every email has an unsubscribe link. We stop as soon as you pay or unsubscribe.

You can unsubscribe with the link at the bottom of every email, or by emailing info@customyourpadel.nl.

If you sign up via the welcome discount tab, we store your email address, language, the time you signed up and the text you saw. You first get an email to confirm. Only then are you on the list and do we send you your own discount code.

If you order from us, we will afterwards also send you emails from the mailing list, unless you tick “no thanks” at checkout. We do this on the basis of our legitimate interest in informing our own customers about similar products. Anyone who unsubscribed before is never added again.

We send at most two emails a month, about new designs, gift ideas, offers and order deadlines. Every email has an unsubscribe link. After you unsubscribe we only keep the fact that you did, so that we do not add you again.

We may update this privacy statement. The current version is always available on this page, with the date of the most recent change shown at the top.
